All of the following were designed by Stephen.

A Residence in Las Colinas (Irving), Texas

This was a very unique project.  The home is a town home with a common wall between the units.  Each yard is roughly 25'x30' with a huge slope (this particular client had over 6 feet of fall in less than25'!) and metallic fencing.  The home owners wanted a nice patio for entertaining along with an area available for gardening but was not too much maintenance.  The result is a 2-tiered wall system built with Pavestone's Highland Stone using a blended stone color (Austin Blend).  The pavers are Pavestone's Uni-Decor with a Holland border - both in Austin Blend.  Also please note the limestone wall around the air conditioning units which help dampen the sound allowing for a quieter experience on the patio. The residence is backed by a 'green belt' and would not allow vehicular travel.  We had to move materials on split plywood runners from the street/cul-de-sac some 200'.  As you can see the results are quite dramatic and the homeowners were very excited.

I designed the back patio (paved portion), sidewalk along the side of the residence, the front walk and driveway extension. The original sidewalk was removed completely before paving.  The driveway extension has a +4" CTB base which allows for the weight of a vehicle.  We used Pavestone Uni-Decor pavers with Holland Stone edging.

The new homeowners wanted a new look for their home.  They had suggested a small retaining wall to encompass their front flower beds.  Upon further conversations we expanded the scope of the project to allow them to gain more space in their beds, allow for a larger tree and a more dramatic look.  For this project I chose Pavestone Brighton stone (limestone color).

I did not get a chance to take any 'BEFORE' pictures.

A Residence in Grand Prairie, Texas

The homeowner was tired of repairing and replacing their KoolKrete pool surround.  After several consultations we decided to go with a Pavestone pool surround and eliminate the chance for cracking. We went with the Plaza I in the Old Town Blend coloring on top of a 4" CTB base.  Pool coping and KoolKrete removal by others.

A Residence in Valley Ranch (Irving), Texas

This home is in a gated community with near zero lot lines so space was a premium.  The homeowners wanted their back/side yard cleaned-up as well as having their patio extended for dining and entertaining.  All this while still preserving some yard for their two Jack Russell Terriers.  We went with Pavestone Uni-Decor pavers in terra cotta with a Holland border.

This was another unusual project for me.  The home owner had not 1 or 2 but 3 patio extensions built off of the house.  After many conversations and discussions we decided to remove all of the concrete (while still preserving their patio cover and footings) and build the patio that they always wanted.  A big concern was to allow for dining/entertaining under the patio cover along with a side extension under a tree as well as a place for the owner to 'park' his grill.  Further they wanted a 24" driveway extension to make it easier to get into and out of their vehicles.  This was completed with a 4" CTB base to allow for a vehicle's weight.  Happily we met and exceeded their expectations with this.  Pavers are Pavestone Uni-Decor in Old Town Blend with a Holland border.
